Join us for an upcoming community conversation with your local elected officials!
“Your City, Your Schools” offers residents a chance to hear from your representatives and discuss the issues that impact your city, your families, and your local schools. The conversation is free and open to the public, and features Pasadena City Councilmember Jason Lyon, Pasadena City College Trustee Tammy Silver, and Pasadena School Board Member Patrice Marshall McKenzie. The officials will offer a brief discussion of their recent work and be on hand to answer questions and listen to resident concerns.

JASON LYON
Jason is an attorney and a proud parent of two children. Prior to his election to the City Council in 2022, he was the Chair of the Pasadena Planning Commission and previously served on Pasadena’s Historic Preservation Commission. Jason aims to improve the quality of life in our community by preserving Pasadena’s character and enhancing the standard of living.
TAMMY SILVER
Tammy is a proud parent of two and a vocal advocate for our students and families. She comes from a long line of educators and established a career managing her family's education supply business. Her passion for education motivates her to make PCC the best run and most outstanding community college in all of California.
PATRICE MARSHALL MCKENZIE
Patrice is an educator and community advocate committed to improving the quality of our schools. Patrice has more than 15 years of experience working with state and local government leaders including members of the California State Legislature and the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education.
