What an amazing week it has been.
After a year and a half, my very first in-person Board of Trustees meeting! We laughed and talked together and reflected on how much we accomplished virtually and how much we learned. Added bonus of in-person meetings...snacks!
I was proud to be a representative of Pasadena City College as we celebrated 32 years of good work by the Asian Youth Center. The Asian Youth Center was founded to address the unmet social service and health needs of Asian youth in the San Gabriel Valley and has grown to now serve low-income and at-risk youth and families of all ethnicities across Los Angeles County.
And I attended the virtual Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities conference where I heard from interesting people and got some good ideas at HACU’s well-designed sessions.
